Learn how to present with ease
Dive into your memories. Which presentations (at work, school or on television) impressed you? Which public speakers could you keep on listening to?
Chances are you don’t remember so much what the speakers said, but you do remember how they made you feel. Most likely, they presented their story with passion, involved their audience, took the time to find their place on stage and accepted your applause with gratitude.
Speakers who can do that feel comfortable with visibility. That is the essence of presenting: making yourself visible to a group of (often) unfamiliar eyes. That takes courage, because you are the one standing in front of that group. Those who are comfortable being seen can relax in front of their audience. That makes for a presentation that really makes a difference.
The methodology
As a Relational Presence facilitator, I teach you how to present with ease using a very simple technique. The Relational Presence technique developed by Lee Glickstein, a US public speaking expert, has already helped thousands of people to present in a different way and leave their fear of speaking behind. I was exposed to the technique myself during a training day and immediately signed up to become a facilitator.
A relaxed presentation does not mean that you have to leave out content – quite the contrary. I will help you build your presentation in such a way that you immediately convince your audience. What is the purpose of your presentation? What is your core message? Which personal story can you tell? We discover it together. I participated in various training courses and am very proud to call myself a licensed presentation trainer. I completed a 16-day course at the Dutch School for Presentation Coaching in Utrecht. My past career as a television journalist and spokesperson also comes in handy in my daily work for speakingchange.
